AI-Supported Differentiated Teaching Protocol

Developing and evaluating an AI-supported differentiated teaching protocol for primary school algebra.

This interdisciplinary project, funded by the University of Cyprus (€60,000), aims to develop and evaluate a blended learning differentiated teaching protocol (DTP) incorporating an intelligent tutoring system (ITS). The AI-based application, designed for tablets and smartphones, provides teachers with instant feedback on students’ learning needs based on diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment during classroom teaching. The ITS also serves as a standalone learning companion for students.

The project is a collaboration between Dr. Kyriakos Charalampous, Dr. Charalambos Charalambous, and Professor Elpida Keravnou at the University of Cyprus.
